The Pig & Whistle is a cosy village pub on the edge of Cartmel, combining a locals' bar with a bistro-style dining area. A large beer garden with countryside views makes it a summer favourite. Its relaxed, community feel and consistently good food have earned it strong reviews from both tourists and regulars.
