The Auckland Project is a regeneration charity working to create positive change in Bishop Auckland through heritage, culture, learning and community activity. Its attractions include Auckland Castle, galleries, gardens and community programmes. Volunteers support visitor welcome, gardens, heritage and wider project activity. The organisation is active and continues to recruit through its volunteering programme.
