Kendal College Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre was voted Animal Rescue Centre of the Year in Cumbria 2026 by the people who use them.
Teaching rescue and rehabilitation centre embedded within Kendal College’s animal care department. Handles wildlife casualties and small animal welfare cases under professional supervision while training new practitioners. Provides triage, treatment and release where appropriate, and promotes evidence-based animal care to the community.
